A Different Perspective on Real Estate

I began investing in real estate in 2013, starting with residential renovations and house flipping. Since then, I've flipped more than 100+ homes and gained firsthand experience in nearly every part of the process—from evaluating properties and managing renovations to design decisions and bringing homes to market.

When I first started investing, I was hesitant to call myself an investor. I didn't identify with the stereotype of someone who cared only about the numbers, overlooked the character of a home, or did whatever it took to get a deal done. I believed there was another way to do business.

For me, that meant creating win-wins, treating people fairly, respecting the architecture of a home, and making improvements that added value to both the property and the surrounding community. Along the way, I've made mistakes and learned plenty of lessons, but those experiences have shaped the way I approach real estate today.

A Love for Architecture and the Stories Homes Tell

I've always been drawn to homes with character—especially mid-century modern architecture, original details, and properties that have something a little different about them. I appreciate the thought behind good design and believe there's value in preserving what makes a home unique. That also shapes how I approach renovations. I'm interested in making thoughtful improvements, reusing what makes sense, and choosing materials that will stand the test of time rather than following trends or replacing things simply because they're old. To me, good design isn't always about starting over; sometimes it's about recognizing what's already there and making it better.

I founded The Copper & Birch Co. in 2020 to share what I had learned with other real estate investors. Today, the business has grown to include real estate representation, renovation project management, interior design, and investor education.

Whether we're helping someone buy or sell a home, planning a renovation, or working through an investment strategy, our approach is the same: recognize the potential, make informed decisions, and do good work along the way.

Outside of real estate, I'm a mom, a wife, an entrepreneur, and a licensed Realtor in Missouri. I believe business should support the life you want to build—not become the entirety of it. That's something I hope to help others create, too.

Our Mission

At The Copper & Birch Co., our mission is to help people see the potential in real estate and make confident decisions about what comes next. Through real estate, renovation, and design, we bring experience, creativity, and a practical approach to helping people buy, sell, improve, and invest in properties.

We believe good work starts with integrity, thoughtful planning, and a genuine understanding of the people and places behind every project.

Our Vision

We believe real estate can be about more than buying, selling, or renovating a property. It's about recognizing potential, making thoughtful decisions, creating spaces that have meaning, and building opportunities for the future. Our vision is to bring a more informed, intentional, and design-minded perspective to real estate—helping people see what's possible and giving them the confidence to pursue it.
